A family estate located in Lalande-de-Pomerol, Château des Annereaux is committed to organic farming and embodies a sincere and respectful approach to viticulture.

In 2017, after a frost ❄️ destroyed nearly 92% of the harvest, winemaker Benjamin Hessel decided to write ✉️ to the President of France 🇫🇷 to alert him to the climatic difficulties faced by winemakers.

To his great surprise, he is invited to present his wines for tasting at the Élysée Palace.

Following this tasting, the Élysée Palace sommelier ordered several cases of the 2012 and 2015 vintages, thus adding Château des Annereaux to the prestigious presidential wine cellar.

In the heart of the estate, beehives are set up among the vines 🐝and contribute to the biodiversity of the terroir 🌱

They produce a floral honey that directly reflects the vineyard's environment, offering another way to describe the land beyond wine.
